Exactly what I wanted to say. They're some voters who would want a female president, but unfortunately most of the voters choose to have a male president. I'm confused as to why you disputed?

Yes, back then, women couldn't even vote! They had woman suffragists leaders such as Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton who did their very best to allow women the right to vote

That's true but, we'll know that the money would be distributed evenly. You don't need the fancy houses, cars, and garage, all you need is something affordable to support your needs.

There's not really any evidence needed, all the time on TV commercials, there has to be a male in a professional sport advertising. Since these people are so popular, a lot of companies use them to drag in their customers to purchase their product.

Honestly, it's really up to people, not so much the government.

Arguable, but what about the disable people? Do they deserve to be in the streets, just because they are different?

Income is often closely aligned with other indicators of status; for example, those with high incomes likely have substantial education, high status occupations, and powerful social networks.

High income earners likely are substantially educated, have high-status occupations, and maintain powerful social networks.

According to the "American Dream," American society is meritocratic and class is achievement-based. In other words, one's membership in a particular social class is based on educational and career accomplishments.

I totaly agree with you, everybody should have close to the same amount of money, or just get rid of it because it's causing a havoc for a lot of people, unfortunately.

Not exactly. Especially when it comes to sports, you see on commercials famous basketball players such as LeBron James and Kobe Bryant who get paid millions just to be in that commercial. When the famous male superstars in sports such as basketball, football, and baseball sign with a company like Nike, or under Armour, they get paid millions on the contract. On the other hand, in the Women's NBA, they're barely and fans at the game, the most high-paid player get 1 million a year and they have no commercials, and barely sign with huge companies. The most high-paid player in the NBA gets paid close to 30 million a year!

I strongly would have to disagree. When it comes to government, such as a president it matters by the VOTERS not the government. It's not their fault that the voters want men to be our president, it's the voters fault.

Yes that's true but I said men are more likely to have full-time jobs. Women can too but it's more likely to see men.

2 points

Yes, I totally agree with you. Studies have shown men have the tendency to be more hard-working then woman, which allows them to have higher salaries. You also have to understand, woman have responsibilities when it comes to cleaning, cooking, and taking care of their children. While men aren't exactly responsible to work around the house, only working hard and providing the food and care for the family.

I strongly agree with your statement Deniz, we need to either get rid of the class system, or better the system so everything would be fair

I strongly disagree with your statement. Yes people who work hard should be rewarded, but what about the other people who have worked so hard and still their reward is grass for their blanket and the sidewalk for their beds. Sometimes Life could just have negative affects on hard-working individuals who really deserve the reward.

Yes, most definitely the U.S. has a class system, especially when it comes down to poverty you hear the upper/rich class, the upper middle class, and the lower/poor class. Honestly, our federal government should do something serious to fix this problem. It's not fair to the poor individuals on the street that fight everyday just to get one more second to live on this earth. On the other hand, we treat the greedy high upper class with much love and support. Millions VS. 20 dollars, seriously we need to fix this! Overall, I believe this is a great issue that needs to be resolved become we're causing the deaths of many innocent people!

I agree with all of you, It doesn't matter about you physical characteristics, if you set your mind on something you will accomplish your goal and become a great person.

1 point

Yes Deniz, I agree very much about what you're saying. It's truly not the government fault anymore, they did all they could do It really comes down to the choices women make, our economy is not sexist. Women are thought to being looked down upon on economic standards but that's because of them quitting and taking care of their families.

Women and men are by far unequal in the American society. Men are physically stronger and more demanding when it comes to job opportunities, which makes men have higher paying jobs than women. You see men with jobs such as engineering, business and computer science. With women, it's more likely to see them in jobs such as nurses, and teachers. Secondly, men have more full-time job opportunities then women. Women tend to take part-time jobs because they eventually want to be the stay home moms that take well care of their children. While men on the other hand, don't have to require that responsibility resulting for more work and higher wages. Lastly, men are more likely to be in big sports such as basketball, football, and soccer while they get paid millions a year! On the other hand, women who participate in these sports only earn thousands a year. Overall, it doesn't come down to if our economy is sexist but the choices and sacrifices women have to make to better their lives.
